Baking my grandmother’s classics like lemon meringue pie and sweet potato pie while sharing conversations with her in the kitchen became my way to honor her and stay connected.

As a Texas Tech University graduate, I spent a decade leading and mentoring in the food service industry with Chick-fil-A. My passion for serving others has always driven me, and the pandemic gave me the unexpected opportunity to care for my grandmother while rediscovering our family’s baking traditions.
